Ruiqiang Passes IATF 16949 Annual Surveillance Audit, Reinforcing Its Automotive Fastener Quality System

Recently, an expert team from a third-party certification body conducted the annual IATF 16949 automotive quality management system surveillance audit at Zhejiang Ruiqiang Auto Parts Co., Ltd.

In strict accordance with IATF 16949 and OEM customer-specific requirements, the audit team carried out document reviews, on-site workshop inspections, verification of sample data and departmental interviews, comprehensively evaluating quality management across the entire process, including simultaneous product development, incoming material control, CNC machining, cold and hot forging, surface treatment, laboratory performance testing, final outgoing inspection and closed-loop handling of customer complaints.

After a rigorous and thorough on-site audit, the team unanimously concluded that the company’s quality management system continues to operate effectively and meets automotive industry requirements. Zhejiang Ruiqiang has successfully passed this annual IATF 16949 surveillance audit.

IATF 16949 is the core entry requirement for vehicle manufacturers’ and Tier 1 supply chains. Guided by the standard throughout production, Ruiqiang strictly controls key characteristics of its non-standard fasteners for new energy vehicle chassis, battery, motor and electronic control, and braking systems, such as dimensional accuracy, mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and durability, and uses its in-house testing laboratory to verify component performance in every respect.

Passing this surveillance audit is strong recognition of the company’s quality control capabilities.
